“Planted in the house of the Lord, the Women of Green Acres THRIVE in the courtyards of our God.”
Psalm 92:13 (paraphrased)

Direction from Debbie

YAY – It’s finally Bible Study month!
Oh, I do hope you have found a class and will make Bible Study a priority in your life and schedule.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 reminds us that God’s Word is useful for teaching us what is right, helping us realize what is wrong, and it is God’s way of preparing us in every way to be fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. Let’s make some significant spiritual progress THIS SEMESTER! I look forward to getting to know you better as we study God’s Word together. Speaking of studying God’s Word together….

February Life Together (2/21) is entitled “Unexpected Places for Unknown Reasons” from Exodus Ch.15 and Acts Ch. 16. Have you ever been “in a place” in life where you didn’t want to be? Have you looked over your current season of life and wondered, “how did I get here!?...and how do I get out!?” God’s Word reveals there are reasons for those times and those places, together, let’s discover what they are! This is a great opportunity to connect with a friend, neighbor or co-worker and invite them to “Life Together”.

I am excited to have the privilege of teaching at Ricks Downtown for SHE Studies! This is our Wednesday 12:00-1:00PM Bible Study group, see below for all the details and, come have lunch with us!

You have been prayed for!
Love You Already!
Debbie
Feed Your Faith
“…give me life through your word.”
Psalm 119:25b

We need Jesus all day, every day. However, there are some days when we are so worn that we need His Word, much like we need water to drink and food to eat. We need His Word to give us Life. As we move into Bible Study season, I encourage all of us to move to our Bible when we feel weary and worn, to not allow Satan to steal our time with the Lord, and to press into Him through prayer and quiet time. Psalm 119 goes on to say, “Let your faithful love come to me, Lord, your salvation, as you promised. Then I can answer the one who taunts me, for I trust in your word.” Psalm 119:41. Let us allow our Bibles to be our caffeine, our nourishment, our water. Let us allow our time with the Lord to give us the LIFE and strength that we need so that when the evil one taunts us, we are ready to fight back with the Truth.

Prison Minsitry Update

Thank you Green Acres for providing gently used Faith Based resources for prison ministry. I was able to take 5 boxes to the Murray Unit in Gatesville, Texas on behalf of our church. The women were so happy and extremely thankful for your gift. Our team was able to share a message of hope and redemption that over 100 women responded to. I hope you’ll plan to join us on a prison ministry trip soon.
