Waiting for hope- A study on the book of Malachi
What do you do when you are stuck in the in-between? How do you remain faithful as you wait for God’s help and provision in a desperate situation? Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament―the final book before a 400 year period of silence. In Malachi, we encounter God’s people as they painstakingly wait for the Messiah. Even though the wait was long and hard, Malachi teaches us they can wait with hope because the One who was coming―Jesus―was their hope. This is a 3 week study.

The Way of Wisdom
The Way of Wisdom
The book of Proverbs describes godly wisdom as a path that leads to life and flourishing. It also warns of the folly of worldly wisdom as a path that leads to the grave. Every day we face the choice between the true riches of God’s instruction or the fool’s gold of earthly pleasures and pursuits. How often do we call to mind the wisdom found in the sayings of Proverbs to shed light on the path before us? How relevant do we even believe these ancient words are to our modern world?

Forgiven and Set Free: Post Abortion
No matter what influences a woman to end a pregnancy, the physical, psychological, and spiritual side effects are real and not always anticipated. Feelings of guilt, shame, and grief become a heavy burden, and many women feel that they will never be free, that no one understands, that God will never forgive them. But there is hope.
Linda Cochrane has been there. With an understanding spirit and a gentle hand, she guides hurting women to bring their emotional scars “out of the dark past and into his holy light” where true and lasting healing can take place. Cochrane delves into the Scriptures to offer help with issues such as relief, denial, anger, forgiveness, depression, letting go, and acceptance.
For every woman yearning for the peace of God’s forgiveness, this study can be the first step to healing and wholeness.
This study is written by Linda Cochrane and taught by Andrea Sabillon.
This book will be provided for you.
Nehemiah: Post-exile
Join us for this 9 week post-exile study of the Jews’ second and third return to Jerusalem from Babylon. Our study will include Ezra 7-10 and the book of Nehemiah. Ezra and Nehemiah were men deeply devoted to God and His Word, living among people who had strayed from God’s Word. God used them to lead the Israelites to repentance, renewed commitment to God, and national revival. This study will challenge and inspire us to deep devotion to God, His work, and His Word, so that we too can impact others. Material will be provided. Written and taught by Jan Burkhart.
Live Free: A Study of Galatians
We long for peace, to have lives marked by freedom from difficulty and pain. We look to countless places to fill this need—our possessions, relationships, intellect, spirituality, political affiliations, and so on. But, by relying on these things for freedom, we unintentionally make them our savior instead of Christ. This exchange leaves us enslaved to a false gospel and to the very things we hoped would set us free.
In this 8-session study on the book of Galatians, author and Bible teacher Elizabeth Woodson reveals that the struggle to fully embrace our freedom in Christ is not a new problem. Walking verse-by-verse through Paul’s letter, Elizabeth highlights how this letter teaches us that in the gospel alone do we gain what we desire—freedom from sin and freedom to experience true peace, living the abundant life Jesus offers.
This study is written by Elizabeth Woodson and taught by Leslie Bowers.

God desires to speak to you through His Word and His Holy Spirit. By learning to listen to God’s voice and committing to obey Him, you will draw closer to God with a deeper desire to serve Him faithfully.

Come ready to dig deep, grow in confidence, and pursue your God-given role with renewed passion for His glory.

Respectable Sins
Have we become so focused on “major” sins that we’ve grown apathetic about our subtle sins?
Renowned author Jerry Bridges takes you into a deep look at the corrosive patterns of behavior that we often accept as normal, in this established and impactful book.
Practical, thought-provoking, and relevant at any stage of life, Respectable Sins addresses a dozen clusters of specific “acceptable” sins that we tend to tolerate in ourselves, such as:
- Jealousy
- Anger
- Judgementalism
- Selfishness
- Pride
Writing from the trenches of his own battles with sin, Bridges offers a message of hope in the transforming grace of God to overcome our “respectable sins.” Now with an added study guide for personal use or group discussion so you can dive deeper into this staple of Jerry Bridges’s classic collection.
