Bible Study Workshop (recorded message available in under Speaker Messages dropbox link)

  • We all have different learning styles. In this workshop we will learn 4-5 techniques/methods to enrich your Bible Study time. We will discover tools and helpful hints for finding Biblical principles along with personal application of God’s Word. We will also learn how to practice God’s Word. Let’s be “doers” of God’s Word and not just “hearers”.

Permanent Bracelets

  • Our Lauren Ferrell Designs clasp-less permanent bracelets are made with sterling silver and gold filled chains. You can swim, shower, and sweat in them! First, pick a chain, then we’ll fit it to your liking, and weld the chain back together so you never have to take it off! This is a great way to commemorate what God has taught you at the Cultivate Conference! *Pre-registration required for this breakout only.

Does God really have a plan?

  • Have you ever wondered if God has a plan, if He really knows what He is doing? In this breakout we will be looking at the life of Joseph and how he displayed radical faith amid adversity. From a dreamer, to a slave, to an overseerer, to a prisoner, and finally second in command, Joseph’s faith never wavered. Together we will break down aspects of Joseph’s story and the strategies he used to remain steady, and how we can do the same. No matter what your season in life, or what you’re walking through, God has a plan that is for your good and for His glory. . .”

Empowered to Empower

  • Have you ever desired to support others as they grow in their faith but have doubts about your ability to do so? In this session we will talk about how it’s through growing in your own identity and significance in Christ that you are empowered to disciple. We will also look at practical steps you can use to begin an exciting discipleship journey with others.

Boundary Setting: Your “no” is OK!

  • How do you feel when someone tells you no? How do you feel about telling someone no? Usually, when the word “no” is being used, it is to set a limit; or a boundary. But what is a boundary? When we set a boundary, we are simply communicating our needs for a healthy interaction with someone else. It is meant to create a sense of safety in a relationship NOT change the behaviors of others. Setting boundaries can be hard though, and in certain relationships, we may be inclined to let others push past and disrespect them. But have you ever considered that by not holding healthy boundaries, you may be preventing yourself from being who God has created you to be? While it doesn’t always feel safe to be honest in our earthly relationships, we can always be honest with God. Our relationship with Him, should be an example of what a relationship with mutual healthy boundaries can be. God respects our boundaries, so why should we not expect the same of others in our lives? So how do we learn to set healthy (and biblical) boundaries in our relationship with others? How do we know a “good boundaries” from a “bad boundary”? And how should we respond when the people in our lives don’t like the boundaries we have in place?

Organizing: Simplify Your Space
